ACME Props | |
ACME PROPS MAKE EVERY MILE PER HOUR COUNT Tournament fishermen and other boaters who spend multiple days on the water rely on consistent, high -performance props. Acme Marine Group manufactures Acme Propellers, which are ideal for sport fishing and cruising, and for any application in which every mile per hour counts.
Ranging in size from approximately 12.5" to 48" in diameter, Acme props are designed and fitted to the highest standards and are manufactured to exacting specifications.
American-made and 100% CNC machined, they are cast in the company's own foundry and machined in one of two QS- 9000 manufacturing facilities using state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing and testing processes. This is especially important for twin-engine applications because a precisely matched set of props greatly reduces discrepancies in engine rpms and performance, and provides smoother operation. Acme propellers offer improved speeds, decreased plane times, significantly reduced vibration and optimum fuel efficiency-all with little or no cavitation. Viking Yachts, Cabo Yachts, Carver Yachts, Rampage Sport Fishing Yachts and Carolina Classic Yachts are some of the yacht makers who use Acme propellers because of their consistent, top-notch performance. The majority of the propellers offered by Acme are made of nickelaluminum-bronze (Nibral), and Acme currently has numerous sizes available in both three-blade and four-blade designs. Acme's design and manufacturing capabilities offer the ability to produce virtually any size or configuration conceivable, up to about 48" diameter. The price range is comparable to other propellers that have less to offer. Contact Acme Propellers, PO Box 1117, Big Rapids, MI 49307. www.acmemarine.com.
