Introduction to Wells Daily Fishing Forecast >>>

Sun July 06 - The first incoming current of the day is Strong but ends shortly before dawn. This current will have moved baitfish in abundance to shorelines and into creeks. An outgoing current begins around 8:15 and is rated Very Weak. Its weak strength and short duration will have little effect in moving baitfish very far from where they will be found shortly after daylight. By early afternoon, a Good rated Incoming current is moving baitfish once again in the direction of back bays and further into creeks. This current will last until mid afternoon. Later in the afternoon an Outgoing current rated Very Strong, will begin to move baitfish rapidly out of creeks and back toward open bays and passes. This current will last late into the evening and be favorable to night fishermen looking to beat the heat!

Example of how to interpret the Wells Daily Fishing Forecast tables. Note: Many things can upset tide and current tables. Cold fronts, thunder storms, winds, etc. can all impact the predicted times of tide height and current movement and strengtth.
